Anna Silk
Anna Silk was born in January 1974. The most famous role she has played is Bo who is from Showcase's Lost Girl television series. Silk was produced in Fredericton New Brunswick Canada. Ilkay Silk's parents are Peter Silk, an academic as well as Peter Silk, who was a well-known actor as well as a producer, director, playwright, educator as well as Director of Drama at St. Thomas University. Her father is British and her mother a Turkish-Cypriot-English expat. One of Anna's first memories include going to rehearsals for plays and watching her mother perform. Silk is well-known for her television role in the role of Cassidy Holland, in Being Erica. In 2009 she was nominated by for the Gemini Awards. The Canadian series Lost Girl cast her as Bo Dennis, the lead character of a succubus. Silk was pregnant while filming of the season's third finale episode. She announced the pregnancy to the fans during an episode of the Showcase preview of the Season Three special on January 6 2013. Silk is involved in the production of Lost Girl since the season's third finale episode was conceived on the 6th of January, 2013, announced on Twitter that she would return to the show on the 4th of June 2013 when Showcase and Prodigy Pictures began production of fourth season. CNN Cable News Network named Bo, along with Lauren Zoie Palmer, as the couple with the same name in Lost Girl to be one of the top television Couples ever. E! Magazine declared that they were the top Television Couples in 2013 Entertainment Television. Silk is a huge social media following, including Facebook and Twitter as a direct result of its popularity.
